Emma Ribbing

Emma is a member of RöRELSEN- koreografer i Skåne. This is a cooperative of Swedish choreographers in the south of Sweden. She works independently as a dancer, choreographer and singer in Sweden and Switzerland. Since 2005 she collaborates with musicians from Switzerland whish she integrates in her performances and concerts with the carrcter ”Mi$$ Maxxx”.
She graduated with distinction in contemporary dance and choreography at the London Studio Centre in 1999. Since than she has been touring Europe, Asia, Australia and Mexico in everything from avantgard theatre to pop concerts, notably for choreographers such as: Rafael Bonachela, Henri Oguiqe, Gilles Jobin och Arthur Kuggeleyn. At present she is part of Marcel Leemann physical dance Theatre that is based in Bern, CH. She also teaches composition and improvisation, pilates and modern classes based on Cunningham technique and floor work.
Alongside dance Emma has worked with photo and video. She was an apprentice for the portrait studio London Family photography LTD. Between 2000-2002 she assisted various photographers among others Chriss Nash. Between 2003-2004 she did an apprentices for postproduction and web design company NVP outside Lausanne, Switzerland.
Between 2003 - 2006 she filmed and realised shorter documentaries & and institutional films for dance & theatre companies in the French speaking part of Switzerland.
Emma speaks fluent Swedish , English and French.
